Environmental Education ProjectAlthough CLZ had budgeted close to target for construction materials for the Environmental Education Centre the budget had not made sufficient allowance for labour or furniture and fittings. With this in mind Timothy Mushibwe, CLZ's Treasurer, has been working overtime knocking on doors throughout the diplomatic community of Lusaka to raise the remaining 50,000USD needed to complete the project. CLZ commends Timothy on his efforts that bore fruit at the end of March with a grant from the Royal Danish Embassy. Conservation Lower Zambezi relocated to the new site in early December and have been hard at work ever since the rains stopped to conclude construction so the project may commence. Environmental Education Project (EEP)Advertisements are out and interviews taking place for an educator to man the
mobile unit and escort groups of school children on their field trips to the
Lower Zambezi Valley. It is hoped that a public relations representative from
ZAWA will be made available to accompany this unit.. Please don't forget that you too can help. . .
