Jobs and volunteer work in conservation

Every month Afrikeye receives enquiries from people interested in becoming involved personally in conservation work, often to support an academic qualification or to broaden their experience during a gap year.

Volunteers in action - assisting with the removal of a snareSometimes applicants wish to move into conservation from another career seeing a change in the pattern of their career as a positive move along their life path.

Conservation is now a much more sophisticated industry, indeed we now use the word industry, than in years gone by and so applicants need to be well suited to positions and able to show that their contribution will be of genuine benefit to the conservation organisation that will be taking them on.

To this end, we have prepared an application form that you can download and then email back to us for passing on to suitable conservation projects. It is detailed because it has to be and you are requested to complete it as fully as you feel able before returning it to us.

The application form is available in Microsoft Word 2003®  and Rich Text Formats.

Word Download the Word version.

RTF Download the Rich Text Version.

When you have completed the form as fully as you are able, please return it to autoforms@afrikeye.net or by post to the address on the form where it will be processed and passed on to the appropriate project team.
